Oils consist of such small molecules that they very quickly penetrate the skin or respiratory system to the entire body. Oregano essential oil in this form can be used on children from 12 years of age, but in a very high dilution. Remember, the Origanum Compactum variety of oregano oil is extremely effective but can also be very irritating to the skin. If in doubt, I recommend consulting a doctor.
